HOW DO I JOIN ROTARY IN GREATER VICTORIA?
We know that it can be daunting to know where to start. We are here to make your journey to becoming a Rotarian as easy and smooth as possible. Take your time and find a Rotary club that works best for you and your schedule. Why not attend a few Rotary clubs meetings and take part in some of their events?
FIND A ROTARY CLUB IN GREATER VICTORIA
The first step is finding a Rotary club that works for your schedule. We have 13 different Rotary clubs in the Greater Victoria area who meet in different locations and at different times. Don't be afraid to consider multiple clubs before you find the right fit. Feel free to email the Rotary club you are interested in or message ourselves to ask any specific questions. Once you have selected a couple of Rotary clubs that you are interested in the next step is to attend one of their Rotary club meetings.
COME TO A MEETING
Becoming a Rotarian starts with a Rotary club. Getting involved will develop your leadership skills and knowledge and build lifelong friendships. Our meetings are open to anyone who is interested in coming along, meeting current members and finding out what we do. It is free to attend your first meeting and you do not need to reserve a spot to attend a Rotary club meeting. Generally, Rotary club meetings are around 1-1.5 hrs. The meeting usually consists of recapping past events, promoting upcoming volunteer and fundraising events, listening to a keynote speaker and having plenty of networking time.
